A few kilometers from the village of Tejeda, La Cruz de Tejeda (Cross of Tejeda), a dark stone cross carved on a pass, at 1,580 m above sea level, marks the geographical center of Gran Canaria. It is these hiking trails or even just the road by car, through the mountains and this untouched nature that amazed me because the view from up there is grandiose. Among the major points of interest, there is the Roque Nublo, a stone monolith where I will return... And then there was this little stop by the side of the road where we were able to buy regional products.
